Unhappy with the options on the market we started to fabricate our own aluminum range hoods with integrated LED lights, a cleanable filter, and a mechanically operating vent closure for when not in use. (Exterior vent flap not included.)

One switch is wired for 2 LED puck lights and your fan. The second is for an optional linear actuator that is designed to be attached to the existed vent cover cable.
